What if I told you there was a way to predict the future?
Well, there is.
That being said, it's not an easy task. It takes some work, some planning, and a lot of creativity. But if you want to be able to predict the future, this is the way to do it: create it.
The best way to predict what will happen in the future is to make it happen yourself. This means that instead of sitting back and waiting for something to happen—like a client asking for more than you think they'll need or a potential investor backing out at the last minute—you should be proactive in making those things happen yourself.
If you want more clients, ask them directly! If you want investors, go after them aggressively! And if you want something bigger like… well… anything else… then just go ahead and make it happen!
You can't predict what will happen in life if all you do is wait for it; but if you take action and create the future by making things happen today, then tomorrow will be just as predictable as today is now: You'll have created everything that happens next!
Creating the future is hard work, but it's also incredibly rewarding. And once you've created it and made it a reality, you'll be able to look at what you've accomplished and smile with pride as you know that your name has played an integral part in that accomplishment. So never sit back and wait for the future to come to you: create it yourself through hard work, real effort, and proactivity.
